Messi donates ₹87 lakh to rebuild Spanish region hit by wildfires

Lionel Messi donated €80,000 (over ₹87 lakh) for the reconstruction of Sierra Oeste which was heavily affected by Spanish wildfires, Community of Madrid President Isabel Diaz Ayuso said. "I want to thank [Messi] and tell him that the people of Madrid hope to welcome him soon to give him the applause he deserves," she added.
