Lionel Messi will reportedly remain away from Inter Miami for an indefinite period following the death of his father and longtime agent Jorge Messi. The 39-year-old is staying with his family in Argentina and has not set a return date. Inter Miami have reportedly granted him open-ended compassionate leave and are not pressuring him to resume club duties.
