Meta asks Oprah, Dalai Lama to be its Twitter rival's early users: Report

Facebook-parent Meta is in talks with celebrities like Oprah Winfrey and the Dalai Lama about being early users of its Twitter-like app, The Verge reported citing internal documents. Its Chief Product Officer Chris Cox said "coding began" for the app in January. Meta will be making the app available "as soon as we can", he added.
