Meta building 'elite' AI team to keep users hooked to Instagram & Facebook

Meta is building a team of "elite" AI researchers to optimise its algorithm to keep users hooked to Facebook and Instagram, reported Business Insider, citing job listings. The team titled MRS Research will closely work with Meta's ads division to support the ad performance and serve the users more relevant ads. TikTok's former executive, Yang Song, will lead the team.
