Meta claims US trade body failed to prove antitrust case: Report

Meta urged a US federal judge to dismiss the antitrust case filed by Federal Trade Commission (FTC), accusing it of buying Instagram and WhatsApp for monopolising the market, Reuters reported. Meta argued that CEO Mark Zuckerberg, before purchasing WhatsApp, knew that it was never meant to be a social network like Facebook. It added that Instagram grew after the acquisition.
