Meta faces $1.4 trillion penalty in US youth addiction trial, nearly equal to its market value

The figure is close to the Mark Zuckerberg-led company's market value of $1.5 trillion. "A sanction of that size has no analogue in the history of consumer protection enforcement," Meta said.
