Meta grants top execs stock awards for first time since IPO

Meta Platforms is offering stock options to top executives for the first time since its 2012 IPO to retain senior talent amid heavy spending. Roles including CFO, CTO and Chief Product Officer are eligible for stock options. All options will be released to executives by August 2030 regardless of stock's performance, and expire in five years if not exercised.
