Meta loses $1.5-bn AI recruit to Anthropic less than a yr after hiring him

Andrew Tulloch, Co-founder of Thinking Machines Lab, has resigned from Meta and is joining AI rival Anthropic, according to several reports. Meta has lost Tulloch less than a year after hiring him with a compensation package reportedly worth as much as $1.5 billion over six years. Tulloch initially turned down Meta's offer before joining the company several months later.
