Meta patents AI that can run users' social media accounts after death: Report

Meta has been granted a patent for a large language model that can "simulate" a person's social media activity, Business Insider reported. The AI could be used "when the user takes a long break or if the user is deceased", the patent said. However, a spokesperson for Meta said the firm has "no plans to move forward with this example".
