Meta plans new AI models 'Mango', 'Avocado' for 2026: Report

Meta is working on a new image and video-focused AI model codenamed Mango, according to the WSJ. It is also developing a new text-based large language model, known internally as Avocado, which is likely to be better at coding-related tasks. Both models are expected to be released in the first half of next year.
