Meta releases 1st AI model from team led by $14-billion hire Alexandr Wang

Meta on Wednesday unveiled Muse Spark, the first AI model developed by its Superintelligence Labs. The team is led by Alexandr Wang, whom Meta hired last year under a $14.3 billion deal. The model offers competitive performance in multimodal perception, reasoning, health and agentic tasks, Meta said, adding that it is the first step towards personal superintelligence.
