Meta removes ads in India that targeted users with porn to steal bank details

Meta removed dozens of Facebook and Instagram ads after India warned that sexually explicit promotions were being used to lure users into downloading malware that could steal banking details. The government said ads for apps such as "Night Play" and "Kyss" directed users to phishing websites. Meta removed 39 such ads after Reuters flagged them.
