Meta removes feature that let AI use public Instagram pics without consent

Meta has discontinued an AI feature launched this week that let users generate images using public Instagram accounts after backlash over privacy concerns. The feature was part of its new Muse Image model. "Our intent was to provide a useful creative tool and to give people control over whether their public content could be referenced in this way," Meta said.
