Meta's ex-AI chief LeCun's startup raises ₹9,000 crore in funding

Former Meta AI chief Yann LeCun's AI startup Advanced Machine Intelligence (AMI) Labs has raised $1.03 billion (over ₹9,000 crore) in funding at a $3.50 billion pre-money valuation. The round was co-led by Cathay Innovation, Greycroft, Hiro Capital, HV Capital and Bezos Expeditions. AMI Labs aims to develop 'world models', new AI systems that can understand the real world.
