While announcing its financial results for Q1, Meta said the total number of employees at the tech giant increased 1% year-over-year. Its headcount stands at 77,986 as of March 31. The figure comes ahead of Meta's plan to fire 10% of its workforce, or 8,000 employees, on May 20 as part of its first round of layoffs for this year.
