Meta has filed a patent for an AI system that listens to people's voices and ambient sounds throughout the day to detect their mood. It combines recordings, non-verbal cues like sighs and laughter, along with the time and location. The system then generates personalised insights such as "You sigh most frequently before bed" or "You've expressed more gratitude this month."
