Meta to buy AMD's AI computing power in ₹9-lakh-crore deal, can also buy 10% of AMD

Meta has agreed to buy six-gigawatt AI computing power from AMD in a deal valued at over $100 billion (over ₹9 lakh crore), as per WSJ. Meta is expected to deploy the first gigawatt starting later this year. AMD has also agreed to give Meta warrants to buy up to 16 crore shares, or roughly 10% of AMD, for $0.01/share.
