Meta to lay off 1,500 employees from Reality Labs team: Report

Meta reportedly plans to lay off around 10% of employees in the Reality Labs division, affecting around 1,500 people. According to the NYT, those working on virtual reality headsets and a VR-based social network will be majorly impacted. Meta's CTO Andrew Bosworth has called for a meeting on Wednesday, calling it the "most important" meeting of the year.
