Meta to start firing 5% of lowest performers next week: Report

Meta will start its company-wide layoffs next week across most countries, including the US, Reuters reported citing internal memos. Last month, Meta said it would fire about 5% of its "lowest performers" and backfill some positions. Affected employees across Europe, Asia and Africa will receive their notice between February 11 and February 18.
