Meta is preparing to limit employees' use of AI with 'tokenminimizing', weeks after firing 8,000 employees to focus on AI, The Information reported. The Mark Zuckerberg-led firm outlined plans to introduce spending controls, budgets and usage limits with a new real-time token-tracking platform named AI Gateway. 'Tokenminimizing' is an antonym to 'tokenmaxxing', which signifies maximising AI use.
