Metro service on Cuttack-Bhubaneswar-Khurda-Puri route announced

To resolve heavy traffic-related issues, the Odisha government on Saturday announced Metro train project on the 100-km Cuttack-Bhubaneswar-Khurda-Puri route. Announcing the project on Utkala Dibasa (Odisha Day), CM Naveen Patnaik said the project will be predominantly based on elevated corridors and will be funded by state government. "This is the New Odisha we are aspiring to create," he said.
