Mexican President posts photo of what he claims is mythological creature elf

Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador shared a photo that he claims is proof of existence of a mythological woodland spirit similar to an elf. He said the photo was taken by an engineer which he believes to be an “alux”, a mischievous woodland spirit in Mayan folklore. A journalist claimed that the picture has been on internet since 2021.
