Mexico accepts non-Mexican deportees from US

Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum said the country has accepted non-Mexican deportees from the US over the past week. She added that Mexico accepted over 4,000 deportees, of which a "large majority" were Mexican. Sheinbaum earlier opposed the US restarting its 'Remain in Mexico' program, which requires non-Mexican migrants to wait in Mexico till the US approves their case.
