Mexico arrests wife of Jalisco New Generation Cartel leader

The Mexican military on Tuesday arrested Rosalinda Gonzalez Valencia, the wife of Mexican drug lord Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, in the western Jalisco state. Oseguera, best known as "El Mencho", is the leader of the ultra-violent Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG). Gonzalez's arrest is "a significant blow to the financial structure of organised crime" in Jalisco state, the Defence Ministry said.
