MHA says reports of it proposing to implement Article 371 in J&K incorrect

The Home Ministry on Saturday said that media reports stating that it has moved a proposal to implement Article 371 in Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir are incorrect and baseless. Article 371 of the Constitution, includes special provisions for 11 states, including Northeastern states where it aims to preserve the tribal culture.
