Miami Mayor Suarez to run for 2024 US Presidential elections

Miami Mayor Francis Suarez filed paperwork with US election commission, declaring his candidacy for the Republican Presidential nomination next year. Other Republicans in the race include former US President Donald Trump, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and ex-UN envoy Nikki Haley. Suarez, the only Hispanic candidate in the race thus far, is the son of Miami's first Cuban-born mayor Xavier Suarez.
