Michael Edwards steps down as CEO of Football for Liverpool's owner

Michael Edwards has stepped down as the CEO of Football for Liverpool's owner, Fenway Sports Group (FSG). He spent over a decade at the club from 2011 to 2022, first as performance director and then as sporting director, before returning in 2024 as CEO. Edwards' decision comes after FSG abandoned plans to add a second club to its football portfolio.
