Michigan is the capital of Arab America: US' 1st Muslim Senator Abdul El-Sayed

Michigan Senate-elect Abdul El-Sayed, who became the first Muslim Senator in US history, said, "[Washington] DC is the capital of US, but Michigan is the capital of Arab America," referring to the state's Arab-American population. "I'm honoured to be the next US Senator from the great state of Michigan," the Democrat added. He earlier called VP JD Vance "JD habibi".
