Micron & Ford sign long-term chip supply deal for vehicles

US semiconductor firm Micron Technology and Ford Motor on Monday signed a long-term semiconductor supply agreement for next-generation vehicles. The deal is expected to secure memory and storage platforms as demand rises for advanced driver-assistance and infotainment systems. This deal comes after Micron's pact with General Motors and supports US DRAM manufacturing in Virginia for customers.
