Micron's revenue jumps 346% in Q3 as AI fuels memory chip demand

US chipmaker Micron reported revenue of $41.46 billion in its fiscal third quarter, up 346% from $9.3 billion in the same period a year earlier. It also posted a profit of $28.2 billion for the quarter, nearly 15 times higher than a year ago. The sharp increase was driven by AI-fuelled demand for memory chips.
