Micron's Taiwan staff get bonuses up to 68 months' pay as profit surges 15-fold

US chipmaker Micron said its staff in Taiwan would receive bonuses equivalent to 35-68 months of pay for fiscal 2026, after reporting a nearly 15-fold surge in quarterly profits. Minimum cash compensation for direct production staff is $53,809.39, while employees who joined before August 29, 2025, will receive $31,652.58. The move comes amid its ongoing labour union dispute in Taiwan.
