Micron to invest up to $825 mn in Gujarat semiconductor facility

US memory chip firm Micron Technology said on Thursday it would invest up to $825 million in a new semiconductor assembly and test facility in Gujarat, its first factory in India. Micron said the total investment in the facility will be $2.75 billion and of that total, 50% will come from the central government and 20% from the Gujarat government.
