Microplastics discovered in penises for the first time

Microplastics have been discovered in penises for first time, raising questions about potential role in erectile dysfunction, reported The Guardian. It quoted a study that analysed tissue samples from five men undergoing surgery for inflatable penile prosthesis, a treatment for severe erectile dysfunction. Microplastics were found in four cases, with PET and polypropylene being most prevalent.
