Microsoft, Zoom must be throttled for anti-Russia stance: Putin

President Vladimir Putin said foreign service providers like Microsoft and Zoom that act against Russian interests should be "throttled". “We must not tolerate platforms that undermine our sovereignty…We haven't kicked anyone out...we've provided the most favourable conditions,” he added. He emphasised the importance of developing domestic software solutions to avoid dependence on western firms.
