Microsoft blocks employee access to Claude Fable over data retention concerns: Report

Microsoft has blocked employee access to Claude Fable 5, Anthropic's most powerful AI model, over data retention concerns, reported The Verge. Under Anthropic's data retention policy ‌for ⁠Mythos-class models, prompts and outputs generated are retained for 30 days for trust and safety purposes. Microsoft reportedly told employees that its legal team is ​evaluating the data retention requirements.
