Microsoft cancels in-person CES participation after Google, Meta

Microsoft has announced that it will not be attending CES 2022 in person in January amid rising Omicron fears. "After reviewing the latest data on the rapidly evolving COVID-19 environment, Microsoft has decided not to participate in-person at CES 2022," the firm said. Besides Microsoft, major tech firms like Google, Meta, Amazon and Twitter have decided against in-person CES participation.
