Microsoft CEO tells staff 'We must do better', firm donates $1.5M for racial equality
In an email to employees, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella said the company must first "look inside" and "do better", to help solve the systemic problem of racism. "We cannot episodically wake up when a new tragedy occurs," Nadella said, referring to George Floyd's death. He announced that Microsoft is donating $1.5 million to six organisations including Black Lives Matter Foundation.
