Microsoft India’s revenues climb 39% to $2.3 bn

Microsoft, the world's largest software player, recorded revenues of Rs 19,229 crore ($2.3 billion) in India during FY23, a jump of 39% from the previous year. Topline growth kept pace with the FY22 rate of 47%. Profit after tax reached Rs 649 crore. There has been an important shift in how Microsoft, once known for on-site software services, makes money.
