Microsoft research suggests AI will significantly disrupt jobs in 2026, especially roles reliant on language, analysis, and information processing. After studying over 200,000 Copilot interactions, Microsoft identified 40 high-risk occupations, vulnerable roles include writers, editors, political scientists, news analysts, data scientists, web developers, and mathematicians.
