Microsoft says its AI medical diagnostic tool is '4 times' better than doctors

Microsoft has revealed details about its AI medical diagnostic tool, which it claims can outperform experienced doctors and is more cost-effective. "The Microsoft AI Diagnostic Orchestrator (MAI-DxO) can correctly diagnose up to 85% of New England Journal of Medicine case proceedings, a rate more than four times higher than a group of experienced physicians," it said.
