Microsoft to end support for Cortana on Windows by late 2023

Microsoft has announced that starting in late 2023, it won't support Cortana, a virtual assistant, on Windows as a standalone app. This comes after Microsoft announced its new Windows Copilot tool in May, which will use centralised AI to assist users. Microsoft first brought Cortana to Windows 10 in 2015 and shuttered its app on iOS and Android in 2020.
