Microsoft to retire Xbox Copilot AI assistant before it launches on console

Microsoft is planning to retire its AI-powered gaming assistant Copilot for Xbox. The firm will be winding down the AI assistant on mobile and stop its development on console, Xbox CEO Asha Sharma said in a post. The move is a part of wider changes, as Sharma said Xbox would be retiring features that don’t align with its future.
