Microsoft unveils new service giving AI agents their 'own computers'

Microsoft has launched hosted agents in its Foundry Agent Service, giving AI agents dedicated, secure compute environments to run tasks. The preview feature offers per-session sandboxes, a persistent file system, built-in identity and auto-scaling, enabling enterprise-grade deployment. The Foundry Agent Service is a fully managed platform for building, deploying and scaling AI agents.
