Midcap firms record sharpest profit jump in 5 quarters: Report

BSE-listed midcap companies reported their sharpest profit growth in five quarters during the March quarter, according to a Moneycontrol analysis. The aggregate net profit of 92 companies in the BSE MidCap 150 Index, excluding select firms, surged 30% YoY. Revenue rose 19%, the strongest growth in 15 quarters, while operating profit jumped 26%, marking the sharpest increase in seven quarters.
