Middle class in PM's heart: Shah on no tax till ₹12 lakh salary

Home Minister Amit Shah praised the Union Budget 2025-26 as it announced that taxpayers earning up to ₹12 lakh/year will have to pay "zero" income tax under new tax regime. Shah said, "The middle class is always in PM Narendra Modi's heart. The proposed tax exemption will go a long way in enhancing the financial well-being of the middle class."
