Mileage loss from E20 petrol limited to 2-4%: Toyota's Vikram Gulati

Toyota Kirloskar Motor's Country Head, Vikram Gulati, said E20 petrol results in a 2-4% drop in mileage, citing an Automotive Research Association of India study. He also said it is a "myth" that ethanol-blended petrol damages vehicles. "The [ethanol] programme has helped save nearly ₹1.9 lakh crore so far, of which around ₹1.6 lakh crore has gone...to farmers," he added.
