Milind Deora urges Centre to consider social media ban for minors

Shiv Sena MP Milind Deora urged the central government to consider banning social media for minors on Tuesday. "India's DPDP (Digital Personal Data Protection) framework provides for stricter consent norms...but we must make social media companies more accountable," he added. He further said that NCRB data showed 27% of Indian teens suffer from low self-esteem and anxiety.
