Milkha Singh to get state funeral; 1-day mourning declared in Punjab: CM

Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh on Saturday announced that the late legendary sprinter Milkha Singh will be given a state funeral by his government. He also declared a one-day holiday (state mourning) in honour of the athlete who passed away aged 91 on Friday. Milkha Singh had tested positive for COVID-19 last month.
