Milton strengthens to 'catastrophic' Category 5 Hurricane as it moves towards Florida

Milton has rapidly intensified into a Category 5 Hurricane on its path towards Florida, with maximum sustained speeds of around 257 kmph. As per US' National Hurricane Center website, catastrophic damage will occur during a Category 5 Hurricane. Evacuation orders have been issued in parts of Florida, which was also hit by Category 4 Hurricane Helene on September 27.
