IIT Madras-incubated startup Mindgrove Technologies has launched India's first indigenously-designed microprocessor chip to power smart electronic devices. The chip, which has completed its basic testing, was produced in Taiwan and is based on RISC-V architecture. Mindgrove claimed to deliver high-performance through the chip at 700 MHz and said it'll be 30% cheaper than competitors.
